Suffolk County police are investigating the deaths of a woman and a 2-year-old boy found dead inside a home on Long Island.
Police officers responded to the home in North Bay Shore Friday evening and found a woman dead in a basement apartment. Homicide detectives responded and later found a 2-year-old boy dead in the house.
The identities of the two victims have not yet been released, and the relationship between the two was not clear.
