Home security company SafeWise has complied a list of the nation's 100 safest cities by analyzing 2015 crime data from the FBI.
New York’s Lewisboro claimed the top spot for the second year in a row, but it was not the only tri-state city to make the cut.
Here's a look at the ten cities that ranked the highest:
Lewisboro, New York (Ranked #1)
Lewisboro had only two crimes reported in 2016 and neither were violent crimes, assaults or burglaries, according to SafeWise.
Washington Township, New Jersey (Ranked #5)
Washington Township landed a spot in the top 10 for the second year in a row.

Weston, Connecticut (Ranked #6)
Weston climbed from No. 15 to No. 2 after no violent crimes were reported in 2015, according to the FBI data.
River Vale, New Jersey (Ranked #8)
River Vale had no violent crimes reported in 2015 and promotes community wellness among their residents, according to SafeWise.
Rye, New York (Ranked #13)
Rye has risen six spots from last year to become the 13th safest city in the nation, according to SafeWise. SafeWise says the city's “Traffic and Pedestrian Safety Committee” aims to prevent vehicular accidents and improve community safety.
Madison, Connecticut (Ranked #14)
Madison's local government provides emergency plans for hurricanes and severe weather since it is right on the water. SafeWise also says it works hard to counsel teens on topics such as substance abuse and stress management.
New Castle Town, New York (Ranked #17)
Known as being home to the Clinton's, New Castle Town is ranked the 17th safest city in America, according to SafeWise. SafeWise notes that the city has has preserved green areas to promote a healthy environment.
Bernards Township, New Jersey (Ranked #21)
Bernards Township has increased their community safety by great margins over the last year, according to SafeWise. It is now the 21st safest city, up from the 78th spot last year.
Kinnelon, New Jersey (Ranked #27)
Kinnelon’s Tri-Boro First Aid Squad and local police force helped it become the nation’s 27th safest city, according to SafeWise. They also have an alliance group, which educates the youth on illegal drugs and bullying.
Clinton Township, New Jersey (Ranked #33)
Clinton is dedicated to community health, according to SafeWise. Their garden yields completely organic foods for their residents. Youth in the community are educated about nutrition and farming.
