State Police say a 21-year-old Yonkers man is dead after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed on the ramp from the Taconic Parkway onto Interstate 84 in East Fishkill, Dutchess County.
Witnesses told troopers that Philip Traub was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the 2010 Harley-Davidson motorcycle shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday.
The motorcycle fell onto its side and slid across the eastbound lanes of I-84, striking guide wires in the center median. Traub was ejected and landed on the median, where he died of his injuries.
