Yankee Candles is recalling thousands of candles from its Luminous Collection due to concerns over potential injuries that could be caused by broken glass.
The $35 fragrant wax candles, sold exclusively at Yankee Candle stores nationwide and online from September 2016 through November 2016, are packaged in a square glass container that can crack when the candle is lit.
The company said it has received 16 reports of the glass jar cracking, but no reports of any injuries.
About 31,000 candles were sold nationwide, with an additional 300 units sold in Canada.
