Huge Tree Limb Kills NJ Landscaper

The worker was hit by a 15-foot tree limb

A landscaping company employee was killed when a large tree limb hit him on the head as he worked at a central New Jersey home.

Authorities say the 40-year-old man was working under a 130-foot tree at a Princeton residence when the 15-foot limb fell Sunday afternoon.

Another worker was up in the tree, trimming it with a chainsaw, when the limb broke free from its safety tether. The limb came down and hit the victim, who suffered severe head trauma.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed.
