Woman Wanted in Knife Attack in Manhattan: NYPD

Police are asking for the public's help to identify a young woman wanted in connection with a knife attack against a man outside a fast-food restaurant in Manhattan.

Investigators on Wednesday released a surveillance photo of the woman, who is described as being in her mid-20s with shoulder-length black hair. She was wearing a black jacket at the time of the incident.

The victim, a 26-year-old man, argued with two women at about 3:30 p.m. on April 30 inside the McDonald's restaurant at 608 West 207 Street in the Inwood neighborhood, police said. They took their disagreement outside and that's when one of the woman pulled out a knife and slashed the man across his abdomen.

The man was taken to New York Presbyterian Allen Hospital. He was expected to survive his wound.

Anyone with information about the woman is asked to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
