Woman Stabbed in the Back in Chinatown: NYPD

Police are looking for a man who stabbed a woman in the back in Chinatown early Tuesday.

The 55-year-old woman was standing in front of a building on Mott Street around 5 a.m. when the suspect struck her with an unknown object, causing a laceration, the NYPD said.

She was taken to Bellevue Hospital where she was treated and released.

Police say the suspect (pictured above) was wearing a white T-shirt, red sweatpants, red and white sneakers, and had a red and white drawstring backpack.
