Woman, 56, Stabbed to Death in Brooklyn

Police are investigating the death of a 56-year-old woman who was found with multiple stab wounds in a Brooklyn home Tuesday night.
Officers responding to a 911 call found the woman, whose identity has not been released, at about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday in a Lewis Avenue home in Bedford Stuyvesant.
She had been stabbed multiple times in the torso, authorities said.
She was pronounced dead at Woodhull Hospital.
Police said a person was taken into custody in connection with the incident, but the individual's identity was not released.
