A woman shouted racist remarks last week to another lady wearing traditional Muslim clothing, the NYPD says.
On Friday shortly before 1 p.m., a woman walked up to the victim and screamed the anti-Muslim comments at the woman in the Bronx, police said.
She then ran away, heading towards Morris Park Avenue in Parkchester, authorities said.
Police Wednesday morning released surveillance footage of the 50-something-year-old suspect in hopes of catching her.
She was seen in the video wearing a hat and a carrying purple bag.
