Woman Injured After Taxi Jumps Curb in Midtown

A woman was badly hurt when a taxi jumped a curb in Midtown Manhattan Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

According to the FDNY, the woman was struck by the cab near 34th Street and 7th Avenue just before 3:30 p.m.

She was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, officials said.

No word yet on what caused the taxi to jump the curb or if any criminality is suspected.
