A fire in an Upper Manhattan apartment building has claimed the life of an elderly woman.
The fire started around 3:30 a.m. Thursday on West 190th Street, authorities said.
The 87-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire was not immediately determine
