Woman Dies After Being Thrown off Motorcycle, Struck by 2 Cars in Queens Hit-and-Run Crash: NYPD

A 22-year-old woman was killed after being thrown off the motorcycle she was riding on and being hit by two cars Monday night in Queens, police said.

Sade Eversley and a 28-year-old man who was operating the motorcycle were traveling westbound on the Belt Parkway just before exit 17W around 10:30 p.m. when they lost control in a curve and struck the center median, the NYPD said.

Eversley and the man were thrown off the bike. A white, older minivan tried to swerve to the right, but it hit Eversley and took off, authorities said.

A 2014 Honda minivan then tried to stop but couldn't and ran over Eversley with the passenger side of the car, according to police. The driver of the Honda minivan stayed at the site of the crash.

Police say Eversley died on the scene.

The motorcycle driver was taken to Jamaica Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the second car wasn’t injured.

No arrests have been made.
