Brooklyn Woman Killed in Christmas Hit-and-Run Left Behind Bucket List

Police are still searching for the driver of the hit-and-run vehicle.

The 38-year-old Brooklyn woman who was killed by a hit-and-run driver on Christmas morning left behind a handwritten list of her dreams that she carried with her and that was recovered after her death

Donna Fountain hoped to find her dream job, buy a house by the age of 45, marry the woman of her dreams and see to it that her now-8-year-old son graduates from college, reports the Daily News.

She also wrote on her list that she hoped to open sanctuary housing for gay and lesbian teenagers.

Her friend Dena Baveghems told the News that Fountain "was all about making her dreams come true. Nothing could have stopped her except this.''
