Police are investigating the death of a 44-year-old woman who was found with facial trauma in a Brooklyn home Sunday.
Authorities responded to a 911 call at the home on Batchelder Street shortly before 8 p.m. and found the woman unconscious. Emergency personnel arrived and pronounced her dead at the scene.
The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
The woman's identity has not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
