Donna King was charged with grand larceny in connection with the theft

A Long Island convenience store clerk is accused of stealing about $64,000 in scratch-off lottery tickets over a three-month period.

Donna King of Glen Cove was arraigned on a grand larceny charge on Tuesday.

King worked at the Super 7 Mini Mart in Glen Head. Authorities say she took various types of New York Lottery scratch-off tickets without paying for them.

The alleged theft began in February.
