Police are investigating after a 19-year-old woman reported being raped in a Brooklyn alley early Sunday.
The woman told police she was approached from behind by a man possibly carrying a gun around 12:30 a.m. on Rockaway Parkway in Canarsie, the NYPD said.
She was taken to Kings County Hospital.
No arrests have been made. Police say they are looking for a man last seen wearing a t-shirt and blue and white shorts.
Residents said they were disturbed by the attack in what they described as an otherwise peaceful neighborhood.
