Major Delays on 2, 3, 4, 5 Trains After Signal Problems

Subway service has been restored between Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan on the 2, 3, 4 and 5 lines after signal problems at Atlantic Avenue, but commuters can expect major delays, the MTA said.

The service disruption, first reported at around 4:04 p.m., came just as the evening rush hour was getting underway.

As of 5:40 p.m., service was restored but delays are to be expected.

Customers were advised to take the N or Q as an alternate, but those lines also are seeing delays due to a signal problem on the Manhattan Bridge.

For up to the minute updates, check with the MTA.
