A Westchester teacher has been charged with rape, accused of having sex with a 16-year-old boy, police say.

Meaghan White, 34, of Valley Cottage, is accused of having sex with the boy twice between Nov. 10 and Dec. 4 at Wilson's Woods Park in Mount Vernon, police say.

She was arrested at her home and charged with third-degree rape and third-degree criminal sexual act. She was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Mount Vernon City Court.

    Attorney information wasn't immediately available.

White is a teacher at  the Leake & Watts residential facility in Yonkers, which provides a variety of services for children and families with disabilities, according to its website. A spokeswoman said  White had been employed at the agency for three months and a full background check turned up clean. She was suspended after her arrest.
