Although Manhattan is increasingly blanketed with security cameras it's not all that much easier to see the city by webcam.

However, if you're hoping for a view of the Macy's 82nd Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade via webcam, your best option is in the heart of Times Square.

EarthCam International actually has more than a dozen Times Square webcams.

Once the parade wraps up, EarthCam International will make its archives available, featuring highlight from the parade, the company said.

Elsewhere online, the New York City Department of Transportation webcams will offer a few glimpses of the parade's balloons, floats and marching bands as they make their way down to Herald Square.
