Cell phone video shows a man jump from a boat into the Hudson River to save another man that had jumped into the water Wednesday night.
The man jumped into the river near Tribeca sometime around 7:30 p.m., the FDNY said.
Fire officials had to rescue both men. The first man was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital, where he is listed in serious, but stable condition. The second man refused medical attention.
Police are investigating.
