VIDEO: Armed Robbery at Queens Gas Stations

Police are searching for the suspects in the Saturday night robberies

Police have released surveillance video of two men robbing a Queens gas station convenience store Saturday and are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects.

The pair were behind two back-to-back robberies Saturday night, the first taking place at a Mobil gas station at 96-27 Queens Blvd., at about 7:20 p.m., police said. The men walked in, armed with semi- automatic handguns, and took about $1,000 in cash from the register.

They also robbed two workers and a customer of their personal property before fleeing northbound on 63rd Road, according to police.

Then, at about 7:50 p.m., the men entered the Gulf gas station at 138-19 Hillside Ave. and approached the counter and asked for cigarettes, police said.

When the cash register drawer opened, the men drew out their handguns and took about $1,500 in cash, police said. They fled on the eastbound service road of the Van Wyck Expressway.

There were no injuries in either robbery, police said.

Anyone who may recognize the suspects is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or at nypdcrimestoppers.com.
