Cops Revive Unconscious Baby Inside Brooklyn Bank

Two NYPD officers saved an unconscious baby inside a Brooklyn bank

A terrifying ordeal for a Brooklyn mother turned into a rescue mission for two NYPD officers when a 3-month-old baby was resuscitated inside a bank Wednesday.

Sunnia Carberry said she was inside the Bank of America at 350 Fulton St. with her child and sister when her sister noticed something was wrong -- the baby lost consciousness.

"I thought he was dead, he was gone," Carberry said.

Officers Jeff Boardman and Anthony Isaac arrived to find the baby lying in his 29-year-old mother's arms, police said. They immediately began chest compressions until the boy regained consciousness and began to breathe on his own, according to the NYPD.

Emergency responders placed an oxygen mask on the baby and took him to Brooklyn Hospital, where he is being treated for a possible seizure.

Carberry says she's "very grateful" to the officers who saved her son and wanted to thank them for saving his life.
