Sketch of the alleged Upper East Side groper

A man suspected of groping women on the Upper East Side has struck again.

Police last week released a sketch of the man suspected of groping at least six women on the Upper East Side since January. The suspect reportedly follows women to their apartment buildings, reaches under their skirts and grabs them.

A similar incident occurred Saturday morning, when a 29-year-old woman was going inside her home at East 88th Street and First Avenue and was assaulted by a man who reached under her dress and groped her, police said.

He laid low for months, but now he''s at it again, groping unsuspecting women on the Upper East Side, even putting his hands up their skirts. Police released a sketch of the suspect but they say women should also pay attention to his height.

The woman was not hurt, but was taken to a local hospital to be checked out.

The suspect is described as 4 feet 11 inches tall and 120 pounds with black hair. Anyone with information about him is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
