A man charged with stalking model and TV talk-show host Tyra Banks is set to go on trial Friday in New York City.

Brady Green is accused of following and harassing the 35-year-old Banks from coast to coast, starting in January 2008.

The Dublin, Ga., man was arrested March 18, 2008, at the Manhattan building where ``The Tyra Banks Show'' is taped. A judge warned him to stay away from Banks, who told police she feared she was in danger. She is expected to testify.

Manhattan Criminal Court Judge James Burke scheduled the trial Thursday after a hearing in which he ruled that most of Green's statements to police could be used as evidence.

The 38-year-old Green has pleaded not guilty to the stalking and harassment. He has rejected several non-jail plea deals.
