Two men ganged up on a victim inside the entrance of a building in the Bronx last week by putting him into a chokehold and stealing his money, the NYPD says.
At around 3 p.m. Thursday, the two men are seen on surveillance video waiting in the entrance of a building in Concourse before the victim appears.
One of the suspects then put the man in a chokehold from behind while the second suspect punched the victim in the face multiple times, police said.
The suspects demanded money from the victim, who complied and handed over $20, the NYPD said.
The duo then ran Northbound on Gerard Avenue, according to officials.
Police Monday night released surveillance video that captured the robbery in hopes of catching the pair.
