Two Bodies Found in Water at Monmouth Beach's Channel Club Marina Identified

Two people whose bodies were pulled from the water at a New Jersey marina have been identified, officials said Saturday.

John J. LoBello, 59, of Toms River, and Deborah Hollen-Lappin, 51, of Eatontown, were found in the water Friday near the Channel Club Marina in Monmouth Beach, according to Monmouth County prosecutors.

The deaths don't appear to be suspicious, but officials are still waiting for a toxicological report from the medical examiner, prosecutors said.

Law enforcement sources told NBC 4 New York that the man fell in the water as the two were trying to board the boat.

They said the woman tried to help him, but she also fell in.

The investigation was ongoing.
