3 Hurt When Moving Truck Plows Into Queens Grocery Store: Officials

At least three people were hurt when a truck plowed through the front of a grocery store in Queens Wednesday afternoon.

The white box truck slammed into the store at 48th Avenue and 48th Street in Sunnyside at about 1 p.m., according to the FDNY.

Three people were taken to Elmhurst Hospital, two with serious injuries and a third with minor injuries, the FDNY and NYPD said.

It's not clear what caused the truck, which appeared to be owned by moving company Lift NYC, to crash into the building. The company declined to comment.
