Trio Wanted for Beating, Robbing Woman in the Bronx: Police

A woman was badly beaten and robbed by three people in the Bronx earlier in the month, police say.

On June 11 around 10:30 p.m., a 21-year-old woman was arguing with two men and a woman while on the 6 train at the Morrison Avenue station in Soundview, police said.

She was followed by the trio when she got off the train, police said. The woman punched the victim and left her with bruises and cuts around her head and face, police said.

The woman dropped her cellphone and $100, which one of the men then took, police said.

Police released surveillance photos of the three people in the hopes of catching them.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
