Expect the heavy rain to continue Monday morning, with lightning and thunder in some areas.
The rains should subside by lunchtime, but showers and storms are possible in the early evening and scattered storms will persist.

The skies will clear Monday night and the sun is expected to return Tuesday and deliver more 80-degree temperatures. Expect more of the same on Wednesday.
As for Tropical Storm Bonnie, Storm Team 4 says slow-moving remnants of the storm will ease northward, but remain mostly offshore. But it could bring a bit of rain or a storm to the region on Thursday or Friday.
