A tree fell and struck a pedestrian in the head as he was walking in Brooklyn Tuesday afternoon, the FDNY says.
The man was walking near MacDonough Street and Saratoga Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant at about 2:30 p.m. when the tree hit him, according to the FDNY.
He was taken to Brookdale Hospital with head trauma and is in serious but stable condition.
Saratoga Avenue was blocked off as crews cleaned up the tree and police investigated.
