A tow truck driver with more than $78,000 in unpaid tolls and fees was arrested Thursday, Port Authority Police said.
Spidron Fragoulias, 45, of Colts Neck, is believed to have more than 850 violations, the police said in a statement.
Fragoulias was stopped after using the EZ Pass lane to enter the Goethals Bridge without paying. A check showed more than $42,000 in fees and more than $36,000 in tolls owed.
He faces charges of petit larceny and theft of service, and his truck was impounded.
