An 18-month-old baby boy is clinging to life after falling into his grandparents' pool on Staten Island Friday morning, police said.
The accident happened shortly before 10 a.m. at a home on Finlay Street in the borough's Tottenville section, police said.
It's unclear how the toddler fell into the backyard pool, said Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.
The boy is listed in critical condition at Staten Island University Hospital, officials said.
