Three people were seriously injured when gunfire erupted outside a New Jersey restaurant.
Authorities say the shootings occurred around 3 a.m. Saturday at an IHOP on Bergen Street in Newark. Further details were not immediately disclosed, but witnesses say the shootings occurred shortly after a fight broke out inside the restaurant.
Essex County prosecutors say one of the shooting victims is hospitalized in "grave condition,'' while the other two were in critical condition. The victims' names have not been disclosed.
Witnesses said one of the people shot was the restaurant's manager.
No arrests have been made.
The shootings are under investigation by the prosecutor's office, the county's Major Crimes Task Force and Newark Police.
