A teenager is dead after a shooting Saturday morning in New Jersey, authorities said.
Police found the Shyheim Rawls, 19, lying outside on Avon Avenue in Newark shortly before 1 a.m., prosecutors said. He had been shot.
The teenager was declared dead at the hospital a short time later.
Authorities are investigating.
