A 16-year-old boy is accused of sexually assaulting another teen with a broom handle at a rehab facility in the Hamptons.

East Hampton police say they responded to the residential facility in Wainscott on Sunday just after 5 p.m.

Police say the 18-year-old victim underwent surgery and is recovering at a hospital.

The suspect was charged with aggravated sexual abuse and assault.
