Taxi Crashes Into Upper East Side Store

Shattered glass and debris lined a sidewalk on the Upper East Side this morning where a taxi jumped a curb and crashed into a hardware store.

Police say the cab driver lost control of the car on York Avenue and East 79th Street and crashed into a small store.

The driver and two pedestrians were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
