The shocking footage of the kidnapping of a woman who passed out at a Manhattan nightclub shows a Queens construction worker dragging her motionless body out of the club before taking her home and raping her, the New York Post reported.
Luis Zambrano, 39, pleaded guilty last week to rape and abduction charges. He will spend 3 1/2 yers behind bars as a result of the plea bargain.
The terrifying episode began on the night of March 22 at the Marquee Club. The woman was on the couch unconscious when Zambrano approached her, the video shows.
Surveillance cameras captured footage of Zambrano dragging the woman’s immobile body to her feet and trying to kiss her.
When he got her to her feet, she wasn’t stable and fell. The construction worker picked her up again and carried her down the stairs and put her in a cab, the tapes showed. He took the woman back to his College Point home and raped her.
His sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 27 and he remains free on bail at this time. He will probably be deported back to Peru after his sentence is over because he is an immigrant.
