Swastikas Scrawled in Long Island High School

Detectives say swastikas have been found three times since April

Police are investigating after a Long Island high school was defaced with swastikas at least three times since April.

Authorities say the first swastika found at Kings Park High School April 17 was drawn in pencil. The second, found May 24, was scrawled in marker and the third, discovered June 4, had been etched into a metal covering for an access panel, officials said.

Two of the swastikas were discovered in the men's bathroom; the other was in the science lab.

Police ask anyone with information about the vandalism to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
