A 30-year-old man has been charged with murdering a woman who was found dead, wrapped in a blanket, on a Brooklyn street Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
Police said Alex Jeffrey was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the death of Merceda Young.
Young, who was 35 and lived in the Bronx, was found near Division and Kent avenues in Williamsburg, according to authorities.
Information on a lawyer for Jeffrey was not immediately available.
