Long Island Court Clerk Stole Bail, Other Funds: Police

A longtime Long Island court employee is accused of stealing bail and other money she was entrusted to oversee.

Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota says Christine Stulsky is scheduled to appear in court Friday.

He says Stulsky resigned this week as senior clerk at the Southold Town Justice Court.

Her duties included collecting fines deposited from closed cases and depositing bail funds.

Stulsky has worked for the town court since 1980.

It wasn't immediately clear if she had a lawyer.
