Suspect Sought in West 14th Street Subway Attack

Police are looking for the suspect who repeatedly stabbed a man in a subway station in lower Manhattan over the weekend.      

Police say a 28-year-old man was stabbed numerous times at about 6 p.m. Saturday at the West 14th Street station.      

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.      

The suspect fled the scene. He's described as approximately 40-50 years old and about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9. He was last seen wearing a light blue striped shirt and dark pants.      

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
