Subway Rider Pummeled in Fight Over Seat: NYPD

Police are looking for a man who allegedly pummeled a 58-year-old subway rider in an argument over a subway seat. 

The suspect and the victim were on a southbound 4 train in the Bronx at about 6 a.m. March 7 when they began arguing over a seat, police said. 

The suspect shoved the victim from his seat to the floor and punched him several times in the face, cutting his lip open, police said. 

The attacker left the train at the Mount  Eden Avenue station, and the victim stayed on board. He declined medical attention by first responders. 

The suspect's photo, taken by the victim, has been released by police.
