Subway Delays Due to FDNY Activity at Astor Place

The MTA reported extensive delays on the 4, 5 and 6 subway lines Saturday afternoon due to FDNY activity at Astor Place.

The FDNY said it was finished on the tracks at 3:33 p.m. and power had been restored. Trains had been skipping some stations between Union Square and Wall Street for about 20 minutes.

The MTA said service had resumed but with extensive delays.
