A student was slashed in the chest by another student at their Bronx school Friday afternoon, police say.
The student was slashed inside P.S. 723 at 3540 Bivona St. in Eastchester at about 1 p.m., according to police.
He was taken to Montefiore Medical Center and is in serious but stable condition.
The suspect was taken into custody, police said.
