One of two street vendors shot during a dispute near Yankee Stadium last week has died.

Clarence Pearson was shot in the abdomen last Thursday. The medical examiner said he died on Saturday, reports the Daily News.

The alleged shooter, Horace Coleman, is due in court Sept. 25. He's expected to be charged with murder.

Coleman's lawyer said his client will be vindicated.

Witnesses said the shooting appeared to have been sparked by a turf war: the shooter, who was running a stand selling African oils, apparently became upset with two vendors on his corner.

"They're always arguing," neighbor Eddie Agosto said after the shooting. "They're always arguing about territory, who's selling what."

Witness Carlos Perez said the gunman continued to shoot at the 41-year-old victim, even as he begged the shooter to stop.

The man lay on the street writhing as good Samaritans tried to stop the bleeding. The shooter then fired at a 60-year-old, hitting him once in the abdomen before walking calmly up the street.

Court officers who were working nearby were able to apprehend the gunman and hold him until NYPD arrived.
