    As police close streets for the Hispanic Columbus Day Parade, controversy surrounds the parades and statues of Christopher Columbus around New York City. Rana Novini reports. (Published Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017)

    Several parades are planned across the region in honor of Columbus Day, even as the city is reviewing statues of Christopher Columbus.

    The following streets will be closed for the Columbus Day Parade in Manhattan on Monday:
