A 14-year-old boy was arrested for theft after police discovered the iPhone he allegedly stole from a woman in Harlem in his underwear.

Officers were on foot patrol Friday afternoon near the Jefferson Houses when they saw the suspect grab the phone from a 24-year-old woman and run off.

The cops called for backup and broadcast a description of the suspect. One of the officers responding to the backup call used the "Find My iPhone" app to track the victim's phone to two different places.

At the second location, officers stopped a person who closely matched the description of the suspect. One of the cops called the victim's number and the phone started ringing. Police found it in the suspect's underwear.

The suspect was arrested and charged with grand larceny, criminal trespassing and criminal possession of stolen property.

It wasn't known if he had an attorney.
