Supermodel Stephanie Seymour Arrested on Drunken Driving Charges After Connecticut Fender-Bender

Supermodel Stephanie Seymour was arrested on drunken driving charges Friday evening after a fender-bender in Connecticut, according to police reports.

Seymour, 47, was arrested after she allegedly backed her Range Rover into a Mercedes sedan at a stop sign just off of Interstate 95 in Greenwich, according to an accident report.

The model was allegedly unsteady on her feet, had bloodshot eyes and smelled like she had been drinking when a state trooper arrived on scene, according to the report.

She refused to take field sobriety tests, so she was cuffed and taken to a state police barracks in Bridgeport, where she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and a traffic infraction.

Two people were in the other car and no one was injured.

Seymour was released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Seymour, who has appeared on the cover of Vogue and in the pages of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit editions, is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Feb. 2.
