A deliveryman bringing Chinese food to a home on Staten Island was killed after being shot in the head on a dead-end street, according to the NYPD.
Officers found the deliveryman, in his 50s, on Grandview Avenue in the Mariners Harbor area shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday, police said. He was pronounced dead at Richmond University Hospital.
No arrests have been made, and police say they haven’t found a weapon.
Crown Palace restaurant confirmed he worked there but declined further comment.
Residents in the area told the Staten Island Advance that several other delivery workers have been mugged while making deliveries on the street.
It's not clear if the man was robbed.
