Police say a man has been stabbed outside a Queens mosque in a possible hate crime.

Investigators were looking for a suspect after the attack just before 5 a.m. at the Masjid Al-Saaliheen Mosque in Flushing.

Police say the attacker may have made both anti-Muslim and anti-Semitic remarks as he stabbed the 57-year-old victim in the torso. He's hospitalized in stable condition.

The victim is a 57-year-old man of Asian descent. The attacker is believed to be a Hispanic man in his 40s.

A message left at the mosque wasn't immediately returned.
